About Rézme

Rézme was birthed out of passion for education, economic mobility, justice reform, research, and technology. Rézme’s technology leverages data and applied research informed by our co-founders’ domain expertise in the criminal legal system, labor policy, and post-secondary education. We are a social impact startup founded in May 21, 2021 in Palo Alto, California, USA with a mission to create technology that makes educational, social, and economic opportunity more accessible.

Our Founding Story

After spending nearly a decade in juvenile and adult correctional facilities for mistakes he made as a teenager, Jodi graduated from Cornell’s Prison Education Program which was launched with a grant from the Sunshine Lady Foundation, founded by Doris Buffett. After securing his freedom, he went on to attend Cornell University before transferring to Stanford University on a full academic scholarship where he earned a BA and MA in education. Jodi’s passion for using technology to empower communities are fueled by his experiences working in Venture Capital backed technology startups like MOJO Sports (Acq ’23), CreateSafe (Seed '23), and Reddit (IPO ‘24).
